Moorimo (“the Company”) establishes and publishes this Privacy Policy to protect users’ personal information and to handle related inquiries and complaints promptly and efficiently, in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Information We Collect
The Company collects the following personal information for membership registration, customer consultation, and service application.
1. Collected Items
- Required: Login ID (Email), Nickname, Profile Image (including information provided via social login)
- Generated during service use: Emotion records (mood, date, etc.), journal contents, character interaction logs, quest information, purchase and subscription history, service usage records, access logs, device information.
2. Collection Method
- Collected upon app execution and sign-up
- Automatically generated and collected during service use (via Supabase DB, analytical tools, etc.)
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
The Company uses the collected personal information for the following purposes:
1. Service Provision and Contract Fulfillment
- Providing emotion recording and analysis features
- Providing personalized quests and character interactions
- Providing paid services (items, subscription) and payment processing
2. Member Management
- Identification for membership services, confirmation of intent to join, handling complaints
3. New Service Development and Marketing
- Verifying service validity through statistical analysis, identifying access frequency, statistics on member service usage
3. Retention and Use Period
In principle, users' personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection and use is achieved. However, the following information is retained for the specified period for the reasons listed below:
1. Retained by Company Policy
- Fraudulent use records: 1 year (to prevent fraud)
- Member information upon withdrawal: Destroyed immediately upon request or after the obligatory retention period under relevant laws.
2. Retained by Relevant Laws
- If preservation is required by the provisions of relevant laws, such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Company generally does not provide users' personal information to outside parties, except in the following cases:
- When users have consented in advance
- When required by law or requested by investigative agencies according to procedures and methods prescribed by law
5. Delegation of Personal Information Processing
For service improvement, the Company delegates personal information processing as follows:
- Cloud Server & DB: Supabase (Data storage and management)
- Payment & Subscription: RevenueCat, Google Play Store, Apple App Store
- Advertising: AdMob (Ad identifiers, etc.)
6. User Rights and How to Exercise Them
Users can view or modify their personal information or request cancellation of membership at any time. Immediate withdrawal is available via 'Settings > Delete Account' in the app.
7. Privacy Officer
The Company designates a relevant department and a Privacy Officer to oversee personal information processing and handle user complaints and damage relief.

8. Notification of Changes
